Share the ice, be safe, and have fun! Some people search their entire lives to find a way to leave behind a legacy. For one man it was as simple as turning his barn into a place to play hockey. Paul Schulz wanted to give the community a place to play his favorite game and we are so fortunate to be able to keep his dream/legacy alive. The rink runs from the time the ground freezes until spring deci

des to kick the ice out. This is a not for profit ice rink ran by a group of amazing volunteers, the ice is free of charge. Please call to schedule ice for a team/party or just open ice.

Thatโ€™s a wrap on the 2025/26 season of the Schulz Rink of Dreams! ๐Ÿค We are officially closed. Itโ€™s time to start turning our attention to the farm season ahead!

Thank you to every single person who gave their time and efforts to help us begin & maintain the rink for another winter season, those who donated and those who chose to spend time at the barn. The legacy of this building means so much to our family, and we feel grateful that weโ€™ve gotten to share it with all of you for another season!

We hope everyone that walked through the doors enjoyed their time here, and we canโ€™t wait to see you all back next year! Feel free to share any photos in the comments below (we love to see them)! ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’

Hi! We will be CLOSED today due to weather, but will be back open Saturday (2/28) and Sunday (3/1) for the last 2 days of the season!

Last week the rink was a lake, this week weโ€™ve got ice back! Weโ€™ve been busy building the rink back up after 50-60ยฐ temps.

We will be back open beginning TOMORROW morning until we hit warm temps again. It will be open ice all week - no scheduled practices or events!

As always, share the ice, make sure lights are turned off when you leave & please keep doors shut going in and out of the lobby. Have fun, be safe, and enjoy the last few days of skating at the barn! ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿค

We were delayed this season due to warm weather and our heat going out in the lobby. Thanks to Shaun Reddy, everyone will be warm again! Again, thanks to everyone thatโ€™s helped get us up and running. We couldnโ€™t do it without you!

We have a very exciting update that we would like to share with all of youโ€ฆ..

๐Ÿ’ก Project: Light up the Rink of Dreams ๐Ÿ’ก

Over the last several months, we have had very generous donations come through that included labor, time, materials, equipment, funds and more. With that, we were able to replace every single (green) light with new, LED lights in the barn. This is a HUGE project and blessing to our family. The lights are bold, bright & beautiful in person, and we canโ€™t wait for all of you to experience it too! โœจ We have a list of those who made this project come to life below. Hi everyone!

With 50ยฐ weather coming in, the Rink of Dreams is officially closed for the 24-25 season. Itโ€™s time for us to switch gears to another farming season thatโ€™s on the horizon! ๐Ÿšœ๐ŸŒพ๐ŸŒฝ

We are incredibly grateful that we got a full 2 month season, and we canโ€™t wait to see you all back next year! Thank you to all those who have spent time at the Rink of Dreams, those who volunteer their time and efforts from the very beginning stages all the way to the end, those who have donated and so much more!

Itโ€™s always so special to us to see teams travel from near and far (the furthest this year being Vancouver, Canada) and to get to share our space with all of you!! We hope you all enjoy it as much as we do! Thank you all! See you next winter! ๐Ÿค

Hello! We just wanted to provide a few reminders to everyone - feel free to share with those who come to the rink!

1. As the signage says in the lobby, please donโ€™t write on the walls. Our family works hard to upkeep the lobby and rink every season for the community to enjoy, and we donโ€™t want to have to continue scrubbing the walls too. If you wouldnโ€™t do it in your own home, please donโ€™t do it at the rink! If you are dropping off your children to the rink, please give this reminder to them. ๐Ÿ™‚

2. Warm weather is on the horizon! Please stay tuned as we most likely will be wrapping up our season soon. Enjoy the last bit of skating!! ๐Ÿ’

3. Due to a frozen pipe, the bathrooms are currently out of order. We will have a porta-potty available for use outside of the lobby for the reminder of the season. A HUGE thank you to Johnny on the Spot for their immediate help!
