"This is probably the most excited I've been for a performing arts building. Matilda Torres is a beautiful school and I have no doubts that the Performing Arts Building is going to look beautiful too. In my other schools we used to have our concerts in the cafeterias. So to be able to have an Theater for performances is a much appreciated change. "I am so excited that the new Torres high school has a Performing Arts Center. It is one of the greatest feelings because at my old school we didn't have a Performing Arts Center, instead, we would do our performances in gyms and cafeterias. "I'm really excited at the fact that I will be one of the first kids to play in a brand new auditorium and theatre. This is a big step up from the small spaces from middle school where we would do whole band rehearsals it would be cramped.
