So sorry folks...

The page here has been dormant for a little while; life and work and all the adulting that comes with it sometimes takes hold like a strong adhesive that doesn’t let you peel yourself away from it.

Since then we’ve noticed many more have slapped themselves up on our “sticker wall” of Followers... Whether you found us due to being adhesive-fiends needing a fix like us, keeping yourself entertained whilst sitting at home on COVID-lockdown, and/or just looking for another page to Follow:

So for now, back to our normally scheduled flow of “tacky” Posts to keep one entertained:

Here’s one from this past winter while taking a board-waxing-break during a riding day at a local PA resort.

Craig Watson from the east coast created these vinyls when one of snowboarding’s greats, Jake Burton Carpenter, lost his life to Stage 4 testicular cancer this past year.

For those of you in-the-know with snowboard life, Jake had some form of influence over us all when it came to history, style, innovations and more. It’s with pride we have this one on our boards, cars and other “flags” we fly everyday!

Sometimes the little tasks of simple vinyl adhesive jobs can be tough work.

Aside from the screen setup & layout of the image on the computer, entering the file into the Criscut program and then the loooooong wait for it to finish cutting...

Then the w**ding(?)

• Weeding Tool

• X-Acto Knife

• Straight Pins

• Tweezers

• ..... P A T I E N C E* ( and maybe a Bandaid or two)

* and if the patience and/or careful hand doesn’t pay off, back to the laptop & Criscut machine for a few spare letters

The die cut blade only makes the “cut” part, the rest is up to the artist (and luckily in this case two assistants) to w**d out all the vinyl that won’t be there. Light density indoor vinyl lettering can be especially testing to ones patience when digging in and pulling I’s, O’s, P’s, A’s, etc.

Then the removal of old vinyl thats been up on the boards for years... (more Bandaids please)

An Adhesive Minds followers DIY way of getting the wanted stickers on her chariot w/o jeopardizing the SUV lease 🤔 (good idea!) to support a great little brand and its endeavors.

Outdoor rubberized magnet sheets with adhesive surfaces that can take vinyl and other prints and get them adhered to fridges, coolers and of course your own chariots!

Lifelong riders know this old logo seen in these adhesives from the 80’s and early 90’s...
