7 years later today will be my last day at South Bibb Recreation Center as center Supervisor. I am overwhelmed with emotions as I have been blessed to take my journey as the new Supervisor at Elaine H. Lucas Senior Center. As I transition to my new home and prepare myself to make new relationships and memories. I have to take this time to say I am truly going to miss my staff and family we have created at South Bibb. You have been my home away from home for 7 years from events to holiday gathering’s and so many celebrations. the best memories and relationships created. I started this journey with Macon Bibb County Recreation in 2019 as a summer camp leader and have since worked my way up from Coordinator 1 to Coordinator 2 And then becoming Center Supervisor all within my first 3yrs. When I became the superstar in 2022 I had know idea where that would eventually take me. South Bibb has been my beginning of what is now a beautiful career flourishing. As I move to my new chapter and next season I am reminded that HARD WORK, AND DEDICATION TRULY PAYS OFF. You should never stop pursuing your goals and BELIEVING IN YOURSELF!!! The Bible says YOUR GIFTS WILL MAKE ROOM FOR YOU (Proverbs 18:16) IF YOU KNOW ME, THEN YOU KNOW MY GIFT IS GIVING, LOVING AND HELPING OTHERS AND MAKING SURE EVERYONE IS TAKING CARE OF AND FEELS LIKE THEY ARE THE AMAZING PERSON EXACTLY WHO GOD MADE THEM TO BE!!! I’M EXCITED, EMOTIONAL, AND RRADY TO LET GOD USE ME AND MY GIFT AT MY NEW WORK PLACE HOME. New faces, friends, and programs. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me and trusted me along the way. But most of all THANK YOU GOD FOR EVERYTHING HE HAS DONE AND IS STILL DOING IN ME. THIS IS THE MUSTARD SEED OF MY FAITH AS I AM WALKING AND WORKING BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT. AND IT’S STILL SO MUCH MORE TO COME. I AM TRULY BLESSED AND BEYOND GRATEFUL FOR IT ALL❤️
