What happens when your spouse is your business partner, your ministry partner, and the person you’re building a family with?

In this episode of Wild Preacher’s Kid, I’m sitting down with Mrs. Alyssa DeVore-Roberson for a real conversation about marriage, business, ministry, and purpose.

Alyssa and her husband have built a unique chef business that takes them across the country for weddings, retreats, private events, and more. But behind the business is a marriage that has to navigate the pressures of building a dream together while still protecting their relationship.

We talk about what it really looks like to work with your spouse without losing your marriage in the process, finding balance between business and family, and growing a family while stepping into a new season of purpose.

Alyssa also shares from her ministry as a prophetess about deliverance, trauma, and the things we sometimes refuse to release. What happens when the very things we survived become the things we continue to carry?

This conversation is about more than business. It’s about healing, letting go, growing together, and learning how to build a life where marriage, family, ministry, and purpose can coexist.

✨ If you’re married, building a business with your spouse, growing a family, walking in ministry, or simply trying to figure out what it means to let go and move forward—this conversation is for you.

What happens when God calls you to grow—but your body starts changing in ways you never expected? In this powerful and vulnerable episode of the Wild Preacher’s Kid Podcast, Pastor Dianesha Robinson-Freeman of Kingdom Nation shares her journey of discovering she was in the early stages of perimenopause while continuing to build and lead her ministry.
PASTOR Dianesha Robinson-Freeman (Prophetess, Author, Psalmist, & Educator) gets real about health, identity, surrender, and the challenge of letting go of her own expectations of how her body should function. She opens up about embracing change, making healthier choices, and recognizing that caring for herself is not separate from her calling—it’s part of being prepared to fulfill it. This conversation is for every woman who has ever looked in the mirror and wondered, “Who am I becoming?”
Join us as Pastor Dianesha reminds us that sometimes surrender means releasing the version of ourselves we thought we had to be—and trusting God with the woman we are becoming. ❤️‍🔥

What happens when God uses social media to connect two people, two cultures, and ultimately, two lives? In this episode, we sit down with First Lady Micaiah Holly, an inspiring woman of God and fellow preacher's kid from the Caribbean who shares her journey of finding love through social media, navigating the beautiful blending of two cultures, and building a life rooted in faith and purpose. From growing up as a preacher’s kid in the Caribbean to leading ministry while pursuing her calling as a faith-based content creator, she opens up about the courage it takes to honor where you come from while embracing where God is taking you. This conversation is filled with faith, love, culture, ministry, identity, and the beautiful reminder that sometimes God can use unexpected connections to lead us exactly where we’re meant to be.

We come back with part 2 of what is it really like to grow up as a Preacher’s Kid? And what is it like to be the friend standing beside them? In this special two-part episode of Wild Preacher’s Kid, I sit down with my longtime friend Tanjanika Lewis for an honest conversation about friendship, faith, expectations, and what it means to grow up with people watching you—sometimes feeling like your every move is being examined under a microscope. We talk about the positive side of relationships with a PK, the unique pressures that come with being connected to ministry, and how constantly being observed because of what you believe can shape your identity, confidence, choices, and relationships. We also explore what happens when the person behind the “Preacher’s Kid” title gets to simply be human. This conversation is about more than being a PK. It’s about friendship, grace, accountability, identity, and learning how to live authentically while carrying expectations that you didn’t necessarily choose. ✨ Two friends. Two perspectives. One honest conversation about what it really means to grow up under the microscope. Go back to part 1 if you missed it last week—because there’s always more to the story behind the title.

On this episode of Wild Preacher’s Kid Podcast, I sit down with Altomesha Peoples, Life & Divorce Coach, for a powerful conversation about what happens when God calls you to uproot everything you know and trust Him with the unknown. Altomesha shares her courageous decision to leave her familiar life, move to a new state, and pursue a new career—all while making the difficult decision to temporarily leave her children behind with the support of her family. Scared, uncertain, and walking into a future she couldn’t fully see, she chose to submit her “yes” to God. What followed was a journey filled with unexpected twists, challenges, lessons, and moments that tested her faith.
But through every turn, Altomesha continued to follow God’s leading—and discovered that sometimes the blessing on the other side requires us to first be willing to go. This is a story about faith over fear, obedience over comfort, family, purpose, and trusting God when you don’t know what’s next. Sometimes your “yes” isn’t the destination—it’s the doorway to your next blessing.
