Saturday, September 26 - the GABBA Members Jam at The Big House Museum

This is GABBAfest's open jam in the back yard that is free to the public to attend but YOU MUST BE A MEMBER TO PLAY. You can join on site that day or now at the link below.

Due to the popularity of this event and the available time, we must insist that all songs be by the ABB or associated projects, Macon related or classic Capricorn related. Music goes from 12-4. Coolers and chairs are welcome. We plan to have a food truck on site.

**This is different from the Thursday show. Thursday's Member Showcase is a pre-arranged collection of member-musicians. Everyone is welcome to attend on Thursday, but there will be no open jam on Thursday at Grant's. Saturday is our open jam (to members). You will sign up to play and be grouped on site.

There are other nightly non-GABBA jams in Macon for those jammers that want extra action that week!

GABBAfest is bringing back the Members Showcase in 2026!

On Thursday 9/24 Grant’s Lounge will be filled with ABB music by GABBA member-musicians from around the country, after an opening set by host band the Jackson Tanner Trio.

In memory of Don Eason, Mark Vormittag and other member-musicians that are no longer with us.

Central Florida rocker Blake Free will be kicking off the GABBA Hangover this year on Sunday, September 27 at noon. Blake is a GABBA Lifetime Member and he recently sat down with 100.9 The Creek. Check it out!

GABBAfest 2026 is in need of volunteers! Trade a few hours’ worth of work for free tickets! September 24-27

Where we need help:
-Thursday afternoon Grand Opera House setup
-Friday and Saturday evening setup and breakdown at the Grand Opera House
-“go-phers” during the Grand shows
-Big House Saturday and Sunday trash patrol and cleanup

If you are attending GABBAfest and want to help just a little bit more, this is your way to get involved! We are an all-volunteer board and we will have our hands full during the festival. Save money on your trip by helping us get the job done!
