🍂 FallFest is just a few weekends away! 🍺🍷

Join us Saturday, Sept. 26, from 4:30-9:30 p.m., at Longwood Park for an evening of Ohio-made craft beer and wine, food trucks, live music and more! We will be announcing the participating wineries, breweries, food trucks, and live music very soon. Stay tuned!

This year's FallFest is being presented by Nordonia Hills and Northeast OH Real Estate Julia Mellon Team Howard Hanna as the event's title sponsor, and our nonprofit partner is the Nordonia Hills Athletic Association (NHAA).

Please note: FallFest is for Nordonia residents, members of the Mac Rec, employees of Nordonia City Schools, and their guests. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Explore the former home of Macedonia's first mayor, Col. William Frew Long, view unique historical artifacts, and see firsthand how ongoing restoration efforts are preserving this community treasure for future generations. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the recently opened second floor during your tour.

‼️Annual Maintenance Closure Reminder‼️

🚧 Facility Closure Reminder 🚧

The Natatorium (Lap Pool, Activity Pool, Hot Tub, Steam Room, & Sauna) will be closed August 24 - September 7, and the Recreation Center will be closed August 31 - September 7 as a part of our annual facility maintenance operation. All facilities will reopen on September 8, 2026.

Additionally, the Lap Pool will be closed ALL DAY on Sunday, August 23rd in preparation of our annual facility maintenance operation.

Thank you for your patience as we improve your Recreation Center!

Get ready for the Manta Ray Swim Team season with our Preparing for Swim Team Clinic! This clinic will introduce swimmers to swim team skills such as streamline, stroke technique drills, flip turns, and much more. Swimmers will work on improving stroke technique in all 4 competitive strokes.

- Dates: Tuesdays & Thursdays | Sept. 15th - Oct. 8th
- Time: 6:00-6:45 PM
- Ages: 7-14
- Cost: $100 Members/Macedonia Residents | $125 Non-Members/Non-Residents

✅ Prerequisites:
1. Swimmers should be able to swim 25 yards (one length of the pool) freestyle without stopping while consistently demonstrating side-mouth breathing at the appropriate timing of the stroke.
2. Be able to swim 25 yards (1 length) backstroke without stopping while constantly kicking his/her legs and continuously maintaining a horizontal position in the water.
3. Swimmers are encouraged to have COMPLETED THROUGH level 4 of swimming lessons.

⚠️ Space is limited to 14 swimmers. Registration ends September 10th!

Join our American Red Cross Lifeguard Training course this September! Participants must complete a mandatory prerequisite swim test on Sept. 12th and online coursework before classes begin. Space is limited, and registration closes September 8th!

- Class Dates: Sept. 13th, 20th & 26th | 8:00 AM-3:00 PM
- Ages: Must be at least 15 years old by Sept. 26, 2026
- Cost: $200 Members/Residents | $225 Open Registration
- Registration Deadline: September 8th

✅ Prerequisites:
1. Swim 100 yards (breaststroke or freestyle), tread water for 2 minutes with hands above water, swim 50 more yards,
2. Complete a timed 10 lb. brick retrieval
3. Participants MUST attend and pass the Mandatory Prerequisite Swim Test on Sept. 12th from 12:00-2:30 PM
4. Online coursework must be completed by September 13th
