Longwood Park is starting to look festival-ready!

Crews are hard at work setting up for the Spirit of Macedonia this Friday and Saturday. Kiddie rides are arriving, concession stands are in place, and tents are going up as preparations continue behind the ballfields.

The Spirit of Macedonia is bringing two days of live entertainment to Longwood Park on June 19 & 20!

Friday, June 19
• 4 p.m. – Vinyl Destination (classic rock covers)
• 7 p.m. – Elaina Arthur (breezy rock and country)

Saturday, June 20
• 11 a.m. – Rick Smith Jr. (magician)
• 12 p.m. – Adult Hip-Hop Team & Senior Dance Squad (dance troupe)
• 2 p.m. – Vinyl Warning (party rock)
• 4 p.m. – Luke Wiggins (folk singer-songwriter)
• 7 p.m. – Sounds from the Cellar (rock, pop and country covers)

Admission is limited to Nordonia-area residents, Mac Rec members, Nordonia School staff, and their guests. Please show proof of residency, membership, or school ID at the check-in area upon arrival. All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

On Wednesday, June 10, the paved trail at Longwood Park will be closed for surface sealing, weather permitting. Please, no walking or cycling on the trail during this one-day maintenance project. The trail is scheduled to reopen Thursday morning.
