To knowingly create change, allowing a deeper purpose to unfold. Be still they say. "It is part of a family tree. This knot is sacred.

Artist and Professional Facillitator

Suddenly, all of my ancestors are behind me. Watch and listen, you are the result of the love of thousands. Linda Hogan/Chickasaw Indian Poet

There is a story behind the story of each of our lives. In this work artist, filmmaker and facilitator Jadina Lilien guides us on a Me- connected- to We approach to creativity and change. Some of o

ur greatest difficulties are unconsciously part of our love/loyalty to someone in our lives and families, even going back hundreds of years.

“In consciousness there are possibilities that do not exist at an unconscious level.”
Llewellyn Vaughan Lee

Through this skillful work, we can gently pull these dynamics out of the shadow and into awareness. The work is done in an individual or group setting, in a space that is both sacred and timeless. We are continuously living the ancestral life, reaching back for centuries, we are satisfying the appetites of unknown ancestors, nursing instincts which we think are our own, but which are quite incompatible with our character; we are not living our own lives, we are paying the debts of our forefathers." Carl Jung

According to the work of Family/Systems Constellations there is a field we live in that can cause us to limit our lives, based on past generations. When looked at consciously, constellations will show what the difficulty looks like now, and the entanglements that are causing lack of vitality and movement. By witnessing this, your perception and experience shifts revealing the connections that always is there. There is a knot in our life that represents the difficulties, struggles, the pain , the beauty from the past into the present. Gather the stories, the threads, by accepting what is, the mystery comes alive. The process Jadina uses is based on the dynamics of the Systemic Constellation work inspired by Bert Hellinger via the Zulu tribe, the Focusing Process (focusing.org) a technique taught by Gene Gendlin and the original thought lived by Indigenous Peoples connected to the sacred intelligence of the earth. Also included is the creative process and the understanding of how we are creation here to create. Why a coach? When a skilled facilitator witnesses the process change happens quicker. For artists, healing professionals and anyone who wants to open up to more possibilities. SEND an EMAIL for SESSIONS. Artist and Facilitator: Jadina Lilien

Her creative training began at the Museum school in Boston studying art, theater and photography. Afterwards being asked to participate in ceremonies with the Polish Theater director Jerzy Grotowski lead to an MFA from New York University in communicating stories through filmmaking and directing. Jadina has over 20 years experience coaching using the International Focusing Process [Gene Genlin], and since 2011 adding the professional training from the Bert Hellinger Institute. Her work with teacher Llewelyn Vaughan Lee since 2000 includes teachings on meditation , dreams and the shadow and symbolic work of active imagination [Karl Jung]. Exhibitions of her films and art have been seen in Europe and the United States. Recently, her screenplay Ghosthorse was awarded a New York Foundation for the Arts fellowship. NYFA is also the fiscal sponsor for the exhibition of her art and companion book project Butterfly Against the Wind which will be published in the Fall of 2016. Available in person in New York City and Guilford Connecticut, also by phone and Skype. Contact me for group workshops. The world sings us into being and we are its song. The process is also excellent for artists, writers, creatives who want to give attention to the creative process. It can include understanding, developing or resolving challenges with projects including the dynamics of decision making. The principles are also valuable with challenges that arise with the systemic group dynamic of a business or group collaboration. Constellation work can also be used to see how our involvement with specific social issues are connected to our family and ancestral system, giving power to our passion for change by linking the personal with the collective. When there is no way out, the way in often begins —

Feeling utterly stuck is often a prerequisite before real change occurs.

Real growth rarely happens when the ego is comfortably sailing along.
It happens when our standard coping mechanisms fail, creating a crack through which the unconscious can speak.

Dr. von Franz reminds us that Jung believed that real inner growth often begins when we’re stuck in a situation that feels impossible - where no choice feels right and there’s no clear way out.

These situations aren’t accidents; they’re meant to shake up our ego from its usual mode of functioning, which usually thinks it’s in control and can solve everything.

If we keep avoiding the problem or refuse to make a decision, we remain stuck.

But if we’re willing to face the pain honestly and deeply, something greater inside us begins to emerge, what Jung called the Self, our deeper, wiser center.

It’s like being forced to rely on something beyond our usual ways of coping.

The Self, our inner, mysterious nucleus of wholeness, quietly directs our psychic unfolding, much like a seed knows how to become a tree.

From a Jungian perspective, when no choice feels right, it means the conscious mind doesn't have the answer yet.
By staying still in the middle of the discomfort - not collapsing, but not forcing a fake solution either - you create the space for a third completely unexpected path to emerge from your deeper center.

Perhaps the hard changes life often asks of you is an eviction notice from a version of life you have outgrown.
