Have you ever heard of the firefighter tradition of "coring" the wedding cake? 🚒

It's a playful custom where guests use the open base of a champagne flute to punch a circular piece out of the wedding cake. While it may look like harmless fun, the tradition carries a symbolic meaning rooted in the firefighting community.

Just as firefighters cut a hole in a roof to relieve heat, smoke, and pressure from a structure, coring the cake represents releasing the stress and pressure of the wedding day. After months of planning, countless decisions, and all the excitement leading up to "I do," it's a lighthearted way to celebrate that the hard part is over!

Now it's time to enjoy the moment, make memories, and savor the sweet beginning of a new chapter together. ❤️🥂
