Even with the weddings, tours, emails, projects, and everything else that fills our days, one thing we've never taken for granted is what we've built together here at Lazy Stud Ranch.
What started as a generational family ranch has slowly become a place where people gather, celebrate, reconnect, and create memories they'll carry with them for a lifetime.
Every path, tree, light, flower bed, stone, and gathering space was designed with intention. Not just to be beautiful, but to create a place that feels welcoming, peaceful, and meaningful from the moment you arrive.
The vision has always been about creating more than just a wedding venue. Every herb tucked into a rock wall, every tree planted around the ranch, every light carefully placed by Lindquist Outdoor Lighting, LLC., and even the addition of our Italian honeybees has been part of a larger dream. A place where the land itself becomes part of the experience. Where herbs can find their way into a signature cocktail, flowers into a bouquet, honey into a welcome gift, and every corner of the ranch tells a story.
It's especially meaningful because this property has been part of our story long before it became a wedding venue. We first met here as teenagers at the bonfires Kyle used to host on the ranch. Looking back, it's hard to believe that years later we'd be married, building a life here together, and creating a place where other people can gather to celebrate, make memories, and begin their own stories.
One of my favorite parts of each day is that almost every evening, Kyle and I take a walk around the property together. It's become a little ritual of ours. It's a chance to slow down, take it all in, dream about what's next, and appreciate how far we've come. Some nights we're planning future projects, and other nights we're simply soaking in the view and feeling grateful for what we've built together on the foundation of a ranch that's been part of Kyle's family for three generations.
We're incredibly grateful for every couple, family, friend, vendor, and supporter who has been part of this journey so far. Watching this vision come to life has been one of the most rewarding experiences of our lives.
Sometimes it's nice to see the ranch from a different perspective and reflect on just how far it's come. 🤍
