🌟 Season 13 Auditions Are Here! 🖤

Want to be part of Strive Dance Company's award-winning Striving Stars Competitive Team? Now’s your chance!

📅 Audition Date: June 20, 2026
📍 Location: Strive Dance Company
💲 Audition Fee: $5 per dancer*

Fill out the audition form and select what your dancer(s) will audition for: Solo, Duet, Trio, Groups, and preferred styles. Group casting is based on your form, skills, and audition performance. Dancers must commit to at least 2 group dances to join the competitive team—but don’t worry, you’ll have the option to accept or decline what you're cast in!

⏰ Audition Schedule:

10:00–11:00 AM | Minis, Petites, Juniors (Ages 11 & under)

11:00–12:00 PM | Teens & Seniors (Ages 12 & up)

12:00–1:00 PM | Privates Only (High School Dance/Performing Arts recruits)

Anything For Selenas Most Creative Concept Award at 👏👏👏

Selena is the reason I am a dancer. From a very young age, I've been dancing to her music, and I've been wanting to do a routine honoring her life since I started teaching dance 18 years ago. I was just waiting for the right group.

All the dancers in the group are Latina and have very proud families who love Selena the same way I do. It is special for so many of us.

There are a ton of small thought out details in this piece. From the placement of the white flower, to the jackets coming off, to the featured parts, to the music editing, to the costume choice, and more!

It was extremely important that while we honored her lively memorable songs that this dance was primarily a tribute and felt sentimental and inspirational. It gives me chills everytime! You can feel her presence. I just know she is looking down proud being amplified in rooms she is not normally heard in.

I am so proud of these girls. The amount of talent and creativity up against us in this session was fierce, and this is truly an honor.

A special thank you to for inspiring me last year at Nationals to finally do this! I am so glad I got to tell you in person, and you were there to see it😘 You were phenomenal this weekend, too!
