🎨 Art Show Season is in Full Swing! 🎨

Our high school artists recently had the opportunity to showcase their work at the Fort Hays State University Art Show—an incredible event with 72 schools and over 1,300 students in attendance!

Each school was recognized with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards, along with Certificates of Merit, which highlight artwork considered college-ready. This is no small accomplishment, and we are so proud of the creativity and dedication our students continue to show.

We’ve officially wrapped up two shows, with two more to go—and we’re especially looking forward to hosting our NCAA League Art Show on April 29th!

👏 Congratulations to all of our artists who have been recognized so far—we are proud of you!

Huge congratulations to our Lyons High School artists! 🎨🔥

This group had an outstanding showing, bringing home:

🥇 3 Gold Medals
🥈 5 Silver Medals
⭐ 3 Merit Awards

Our students showed up in a big way—pushing creativity, taking risks, and producing work that stood out in a highly competitive field alongside strong programs like Sterling and Little River.

We know the level of talent in our room runs deep, and this is just a snapshot of what our artists are capable of. Proud is an understatement.

Keep creating, keep competing, and keep raising the bar. 💪🎨

On Monday, High School Art students from Lyons Schools; USD 405 traveled over to Lyons Park Elementary to visit our little artists to grow ART🎨in their 💕HEARTS💕!

Before holiday break we had the joy of bringing art into Park Elementary School. We look forward to the opportunity to spend more time with Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grade again and immersing them in the world of ART.

An incredibly big thank you to Lyons White's Foodliner for this opportunity. The Art Students loved getting to pick & design their pumpkin, place bets on whose would sell first and would go to the store just to wait & watch if theirs had sold yet. With this being the first year of our collaboration, we had some learning curves, but are already looking forward to next year! This donation brings us steps closer to our goals: some kind of display for the art in the High School, framing every piece that goes to competitions, and a raku kiln!

🎨💛 Community art spotlight!!

Our store director, Tamara, had the honor of presenting a check to the Lyons High School art teacher and some of the talented students who helped create the decorated pumpkins for our fall fundraiser. 🎃

Every pumpkin purchased helped support their art program, showing how our community comes together to celebrate creativity and education. ❤️
