Wondering where we’ve been? Recovering from broken bones and concussions can suck, but doing a bar crawl of Brooklyn and NYC makes it suck way less. David and Allistar had a grand adventure to the city, trying out one of Brooklyn’s gaming hubs, the world’s second-largest gin bar, local speakeasies, and several new cocktail combos.

Hello adventurers,

Thank you all for your continued loyal support of Creatures & Cocktails over these past several months. It means a great deal to us that you’ve shown up, brought friends, rolled dice, raised glasses, and helped build this strange little storytelling speakeasy into something real.

For the foreseeable future, Creatures & Cocktails is going into hibernation (i.e. cancelled) and will no longer be hosted at the Music Hall at 722 Commerce Street.

The reason is simple. Your illustrious host (HP 10) decided to pick a fight with a concrete floor (HP: a lot). He rolled a natural 1. The concrete floor remains victorious. David is recovering well, but we want to give him the time and space he needs to heal properly rather than jump back into herding cats, wrangling props, and sprinting through another event.

Fear not. We will be back.

Keep checking Facebook, Instagram, and your email for updates. We’ll share more when the time is right. No matter the schedule shifts, cancellations, liability forms, unethical warfare, or the occasional murder, we are still the same storytelling speakeasy you know and love.

With all the ideas we have brewing for you poor, unfortunate souls, trust me: Creatures & Cocktails is far from over. We are just getting started.
