I want to take a moment to reflect on one of my favorite projects I worked on during lunch. Thank you, Lynchburg City, for consistently reaching out with such great ideas and for supporting these public art initiatives. Change is always happening in a city, and this will be an ongoing project that I’m excited to be a part of. Here's another story of us on work we're doing with the community development of 12th Street. There's gonna be a lot more to come, but I was just really excited to already see some stories about what we're working on. I just think it honestly, just pure gas on the fire that we can continue making lunch for a great city. Together.

It was a privilege to be a part of this project, and it truly inspires me to think about the next one. There are several walls and corners in Lynchburg that I would love to beautify. My home is such a special place, and I genuinely enjoy contributing to these initiatives and helping to bring them to fruition. That was close. Best Western is swimming well, but don't tell people that.

Y'all. THIS MURAL. 🧇🍦
So the building got new owners — and they are WAFFLE AND ICE CREAM people, which honestly feels like the universe knew exactly what it was doing. Because this mural? It was MADE for them. The whole building speaks to the sweetness inside — that was always the mission when I painted it, and now it just fits even more perfectly.
Go show them some love, grab something delicious, and PLEASE take selfies with the mural! Let us all know what you think of the treats — because good art and good food deserve to be celebrated together. 🍦🧇
