The LaHaye Ice Center will open tomorrow at 10:00am. ☃️

LU Public Service Notification: URGENT, LU will open at 10 am (1/7/2025). VDOT has advised to use caution. Consider the following information:
1. Dress in Layers when Going Out
Whenever possible, remain inside to stay warm and safe.
If you need to go outside, dress in layers, including hats, gloves, and waterproof footwear, to protect against the cold.
2. Stick to Main Roads if Driving
Avoid back roads, which may be less maintained and more dangerous during snow and ice conditions. Stick to main roads and highways that are more likely to be treated.
3. Stay Informed with Trusted Sources
Monitor updates from reliable sources like the National Weather Service (NWS), Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM), and Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).

Please visit 511.vdot.virginia.gov or use the VDOT 511 app for road and traffic conditions.
4. Know Who to Call in an Emergency at LU In case of an emergency at LU, contact the LU Emergency Communications Center at 434-592-3911 for assistance. Save this number in your phone for quick access.
5. Take Your Time and Use Caution
Whether driving or walking, don’t rush. Snow and ice can create hidden hazards, so move carefully and remain aware of your surroundings.

New Clear Bag Policy for Liberty University Men's Hockey Team

Flames Nation, we are implementing new security measures this season to ensure a safe environment for fans. We will have a clear bag policy as well as metal detectors in place at all home games.
