It’s been a productive summer as the first Artist In Residence
Thanks to their generosity I am solidly set off in a new direction of exploration and opportunities. I encourage other artists to keep an eye on this space as they continue to build their residency program here in Lyman, Maine.

Come celebrate Maine Craft Weekend!
Join me October 3, 6-9:00pm for the Opening of my Residency show and Artist Talk at 7:00 moderated by Vivian Harris of VMH Qualitative Research.
The studios will be open to explore and meet many of the artists who work here. There will be demos, music, food, and lot’s to see!

Thanks to their generosity and support my time here has set me off solidly in a new direction of exploration and opportunities. I encourage other artists to keep their eyes on this space for future offerings to join Outskirt Studios as they continue to build their residency program.

It was a good week. Lot's accomplished. The hardest part? Silvery wire is nearly impossible to see and even is harder to photograph! But I love these forms. And even though this tedious part of the process will eventually be covered by layers of fabric and porcelain the underlying skeletal armature will subtly reveal itself in the end.
