Thank you to the Hickman County Times for the article about Recovery Fest Hickman.

Slight edit - William Hicks, On The Rise, Jason Acy, SunShine SunShine & Daniel Baker were able to keep us all entertained. Unfortunately, Angie Laster Band was unable to join us last minute this year, but we love them and appreciate their support!

Recovery Fest Hickman 2026 celebrated recovery from addiction and raised awareness about substance abuse and su***de prevention, drawing supporters, survivors and advocates to the old Johnny Cash Farm on Sept. 19.

We are grateful the over 300 folks who braved the heat and joined us today at Recovery Fest Hickman. It is not lost on us that out of all the ways you could spend your Saturday, you chose to beat the heat and come out.

We thank the families that walked for their loved ones or themselves at the Live; Love; Walk.

To our volunteers, you all are our heros. It always amazes us to watch the community step up for each other. There's no way we could list you all by name.

To our Food Trucks, you kept everyone fed and hydrated and happy! Thank you. Thank you.

To our musicians, donating your time and talent is such an amazing way to pour into the community. There are no words to truly thank you!

To our Family Fun Zone Vendors, you guys literally made it happen. The foam pit was a huge hit, and the Jurassic Park Set up made some littles so happy (some adults too), and our face painter delighted young and old alike.

And to our vendors and sponsors, our gratitude is immeasurable. Without you all, this fantastic day would not be possible.

We probably could have summed up this entire post with the word, grateful, but unless you see it first hand - you just can't explain it.

Thank you to all. We're putting in a request for some cooler weather for next year and can't wait to see you out there!

With gratitude from you Co-Hosts,
Booker D. Foundation & Hope in Recovery
