INFORMATION FOR THE 82ND MODEL MOTORING CAR CLUB SHOW IN BELOIT, OHIO, OCTOBER 24 THRU 26. (THIS IS THE FORMER CLEVELAND SLOT SHOW) THIS IS THE OLDEST SLOT CAR SHOW IN THE WORLD. THE BENNETT BROTHERS HAVE BEEN PUTTING ON THE SHOW SINCE 1983 AND MISSED ONLY THE COVID PEROID.
We have a 2 1/2 day show in Beloit, Ohio. Friday Oct. 24 we will start assembling tracks for racing on late Friday afternoon and continuing thru the weekend. Vendors will begin setting up Friday at noon for the entire weekend for $40.00 for a 8 foot table. Friday evening we are inviting Boy Scout Troops and Middle School age kids 11 years old and up to come out and race on numerous tracks. Families are welcome to come and participate, and there is no charge on Friday to come race. Remember vendors you can start setting up at noon on Friday. You can also bring your RV's and stay in the back parking lot free all weekend. Hotel is the Comfort Inn in Alliance, Ohio. Room rates are $99.00 plus tax, Phone # is 330-821-5555. 25% of the vendors set up on Friday last show.
Race Day Saturday opens at 8:00 am, more vendors will be setting up and race tracks will be open for anyone to use. Saturday at 12:00 we host The Famous Pro Tinker 500 Races. These races here sponsored by Pro Tinker Toys and the Bryan Young family and employees from Wayne, Ohio. These races require a purchase of a car to enter each different race. Prizes are awarded in each race. Saturday evening will be our Charity Auction with all moneys going to Boy Scout Troop 50 in Alliance, Ohio. 70% of the vendors will be set by Saturday afternoon.
Sunday, vendors and floor rights can get in at 6:30 am . Floor rights is 3 more hours to shop, talk, and see all the good stuff that most of the public won't see. Floor Rights are $25.00 and General Admission is $5.00. This is the 82nd Slot Car Show put on by the Bennett Brothers and is The Former Cleveland Slot Car Show which we moved to are new bigger location in Beloit, Ohio.
