Greetings this is Stan Hensh, I own and operate Lost Apparitions Records and The Attic. By all means if anyone has any questions about the $10.00 cover charge at the door my work number is 540 742 3032. I will happily explain the need and the reason to charge this amount. You must keep in mind this is not just some local show that has just been thrown together at a VFW or an American Legion or any other place you rent out for the day. This is a full time venue and with a full time venue there are bills that come along with that FULL time venue. That $10.00 a person does the following...pays bands, pays the rent ,pays the utility bills(which are extremely high), pays to keep the snack bar stocked up and pays for hired help. Now you see why $5.00 just wont cut it people... it just wont pay the bills. And also remember bigger named bands coming through charge more money so that is an issue as well. So, if you don't like the price and you don't want to come then don't come.... simple as that no need to bitch about it. If you don't want to support the local music scene, step aside someone else will do it. So I hope this sheds some light on the $10.00 cover charge...Thank you and have a nice day!!!!
