Asymmetrical End Grain Board ⚖️🪵
This piece was definitely intended to be asymmetrical from the start and certainly didn't partially explode when taking an accidentally more aggressive pass through the planer than intended 😬😐💥
But it was made from scraps anyway, so that softened the blow at least 😆 plus I kinda like how it looks, it just means the client can only cut 1 apple on it instead of 2 🔪🍎📏

The texture on this very old wood is just SO cool; it almost looks like waves up close 🌊👀
Despite the risk of barn theme overload, I felt the weathered grey of the wood went together too well with the black and white stipple style of the art to pass it up 🔲🔳✒️
