Having a regular creative outlet through CTAP is not just part of a well-rounded education — it is essential for a child’s emotional health and well-being.

The Public Schools of Robeson County (PSRC) Children's Theatre Arts Program's (CTAP) mission is to educate grades 2–8 (Fall), 2-7 (Spring) students in PSRC's schools about theatre by participation in a variety of dramatic musical comedy productions. The Children's Theatre Arts Program's (CTAP) mission is to educate students in grades 2–7 in the Public Schools of Robeson County* about theatre by pa

rticipation in a variety of dramatic musical comedy productions. Participation in a CTAP show brings the arts together and provides growth opportunities for all varieties of learners. CTAP participants not only learn about theatre, but also reinforce their literacy and speaking skills while building relationships with other students throughout the PSRC school district.

*Students who are homeschooled or in charter, parochial, and private schools are not eligible to participate.

AUDITIONS ARE TOMORROW! I can hardly believe its that time already! 3 Clicks of a heel and P**F.... Its time to to try out for the show!

The Children's Theatre Arts Program (CTAP) is seeking a Connex storage container to safely store our growing collection of scenery, flats, platforms, and building materials.

As our productions grow, so does our need for secure storage. Our performance space is also a shared rental and education facility. We cannot store sets backstage or in the wings long-term for safety reasons.

Sadly, our current storage trailer has been broken into multiple times, and this weekend vandals damaged it beyond repair, leaving our materials exposed to the elements. A donated Connex box would provide a safe, weatherproof home for the materials that help bring our productions to life and serve hundreds of local students for years to come.

Donations to PSRC's Children's Theatre Arts Program are tax-deductible through our CTAP Booster Club, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

As a Thank You, donors will receive:
• A tax-deduction letter.
• A special thank-you in our all our showbills
• A full-page advertisement for your business
• Free tickets and concession vouchers

In our family, theatre is a family sport. I would not be where I am today without the love, encouragement, and unwavering support of my mother who always pushed me to keep going and reminding me never to dim my light.

A huge shoutout to all the moms working tirelessly behind the scenes: hidden in the shadows of the wings backstage, helping with costumes, building and painting sets, volunteering front of house, organizing, running the booster club, cheering on performers, and so much more. The list is truly endless.

Thank you for supporting your bright young stars and helping ensure the success of our productions while strengthening our program and theatre family. Together we are cultivating the Stars of Tomorrow! It truly takes a village to do what we do, and each of you helps make the magic happen beautifully.
