Hosting an event? Do THIS 10 minutes before guests arrive.

Stop decorating.

Seriously. šŸ˜‚

Ten minutes before your event begins, put the tape and scissors DOWN.
Walk through the room like youā€™re a guest.
Take a deep breath and prepare to enjoy the big event youā€™ve been preparing for

Where do I get a drink?
Where do I sit?
Where are the restrooms?
Where does the guest of honor go?

This is why I always encourage our customers to make sure they have enough time included for their set up. If you only give yourself 30 minutes for set up and someone shows up 15 minutes early, then you really only had 15 minutes of uninterrupted set up time, and thatā€™s not enough.

Sometimes the best thing you can add to an event isnā€™t another decorationā€”itā€™s making the experience feel effortless. Planning ahead makes such a difference šŸ¤

A smaller group, but still BIG funā€”and the Mahjongs just kept coming! šŸ€„ļøāœØ

Last night was filled with clicking tiles(anyone else addicted to that sound?), winning hand s, friendly competition, and plenty of laughter. Thatā€™s what we love about Mahjong: whether the room is packed or the gathering is a little more intimate, the fun and connection are always BIG!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for another wonderful night around the tables. We canā€™t wait to shuffle and play again! šŸ¤

Thereā€™s just something special about gathering around a Mahjong table. šŸ€„ļøšŸ¤

What started as another fun event at Magnolia Lane has turned into evenings filled with laughter, conversation, new friendships, familiar facesā€¦and, of course, a little friendly competition.

Tuesday night we get to do it again. šŸ„°

This one is Open Play only, so if you already know the game, weā€™d love for you to pull up a chair and spend the evening with us.
