SECOND weekend of April, find me at Art in the Pass

We have two t-shirt winners--Claudia Bullis and Susan Peterson. Thank you, everyone, for helping us get the word out about the festival this weekend! Looking forward to seeing you there!

Dear art loving friends--
The festival is back this year on the SECOND weekend in April. (Easter is the first!) For the 28th year, we will have around 110 artists from 15 states working in a wide range of media, from painting to wood working, sculpture to photography. Please help us send this save-the-date postcard as far and wide as it will go. Like, comment, and share! We will pull one name from the comment section to start our annual t-shirt give away.

EDIT: We can't help but give t-shirts to the two fans who will have birthdays over the weekend: Heather Mooney and Kathie Meece! We will be giving away more t-shirts. Stay tuned!

This Thursday @ 9am, tune in to see me on WWL-TV’s Great Day Louisiana promoting my wares and the 53rd Annual Fall Festival at Destrehan Plantation

The festival is this weekend and hosts over 150 artists, craftspersons, and local retailers. Saturday and Sunday, Nov 8 and 9, the weather will be great. This is my first time participating, and I’ll have new designs and glaze combination on display!

Chasing this ‘little’ dream of mine. I have a lot to share. Please grant me grace as I figure out how to express my vision on social media. For now, I’m Vincent, and this is Little Leaf Pottery.

I can be a journey’s man or adventurer wandering to find new inspirations, skills, techniques, or materials. I can be a doctor performing critical surgery with a technician’s precision. I can be a minstrel sharing joy and laughter through my art and performance. Being a maker gives me a deep sense of self.

Pottery is a means of expression, but the clay also expresses itself to me. I’m in a life long partnership with the clay. Making is a playful dance we do together.”
