More sad news. I received a call today from a friend in Houston that our friend Marsha Henshaw passed away earlier this month. Most of you know her as the classic, soft spoken, inspiration behind Sew Contempo. When I first retired from my proper job I went to work at Sew Contempo and let me tell you - I couldn't have started in a better place. Marsha and Jerry had stopped by the shop last year on the way to someplace fun. I so enjoyed visiting with Marsha and hearing about all of her golf and crafting since she had retired. Tommy, their son, lives in Amsterdam and is a dad! My how time flies. There will be a service for Marsha on June 13th
2:00 pm Crowder Funeral Home
1645 E. Main Street, League City TX
followed by a time to reminisce at La Brisa Mexican Grill in League City. The obituary will be available in the next few days.
If you have photos of Marsha to share please let me know and I will get you Diane Grafton's information who can forward to Tommy.
