🌷💛 Happy Mother’s Day from The Green Room Theatre! 💛🌷

Today we celebrate all the moms, grandmothers, bonus moms, mother figures, and caregivers who fill our world with love, strength, and creativity.

A special thank‑you to the incredible moms who help us do what we do; the ones who sew last‑minute hems, run lines in the car, cheer from the audience, build sets, work backstage or the house, bring snacks to rehearsals and work days, calm nerves, and show up again and again with open hearts. Our theatre family shines brighter because of you.

Whether you’re raising future artists, supporting the ones already onstage, or simply sharing your light with the people around you, we are grateful for you today and every day.

**If you purchased tickets online for last nights show (Thursday the 16th) and were unable to attend, your tickets will still be honored tonight or tomorrow night (17th and 18th). **

Doors open at 7pm and show starts at 7:30pm. Once the show has started, out of respect to attendees and our cast, we will not allow entry. Thank you for your understanding!

If you haven’t attended a show in our space before, please note that the entrance is at the back of the building. There will be signs!
This show runs approximately 90minutes with no intermission. Our restrooms are located through the front of the building.

‘Night, Mother is a Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Marsha Norman. This two-character drama unfolds in real-time as Jessie prepares for her death, explaining her reasons and organizing her affairs, while Thelma cycles through disbelief, anger, and desperation, leading to a poignant exploration of their mother-daughter relationship and the subject of suic*de.
‘Night, Mother explores love, despair, mental health, and the complexities of family relationships with raw honesty.
The play, which premiered on Broadway in 1983, starred Kathy Bates and Anne Pitoniak. It was also adapted into a 1986 film starring Sissy Spacek and Anne Bancroft.
It won the 1983 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize, and the Drama Desk Award.
