Today's Charity Monday will benefit the JCI Ludington Freedom Festival . 30% of today's game play will be donated toward the tradition of the Jaycees organizing all of the events under the Freedom Festival: Children and Pet Parade, One Mile Dash, Grand Parade, and Fireworks.

Due to current weather conditions and reduced visibility, the scheduled flyover for today's event has been canceled. Unfortunately, the aircraft are unable to depart from their location safely, making the flyover impossible.

While we're disappointed that the flyover cannot take place, the safety of the pilots and crew remains our top priority.

We appreciate everyone's understanding and look forward to continuing the rest of today's activities. Thank you for your support of JCI Ludington and our event.

🚨🎆New parking rules🚨🎆

🎆 Planning to celebrate at Stearns Beach this Independence Day? 🇺🇸

To help create a safe and secure environment for the thousands of people who will be enjoying the beach and watching the fireworks, all vehicle and golf cart parking at Stearns Beach will be prohibited beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2026, through 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 5, 2026.

We appreciate your cooperation as we work together to make this a fun, safe, and memorable celebration for everyone. Please plan ahead, use available roadside parking areas, and allow yourself extra time to get to the beach.

As there will be no vehicles parking at the beach, the entire parking lot is available to pedestrians. Feel free to bring your beach chairs, yard games, etc., and enjoy the best views Ludington has to offer.

We hope you have a fantastic Independence Day with family and friends. Enjoy the festivities, celebrate responsibly, and have a safe and happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸🎇
