I am Caprice Nutt Art, a cyanotype artist in Slaton, TX.
I had the privilege of showing my art at the Lubbock Arts Festival in April. My current focus uses digital photos to create unique artwork. This process produces sharp images and varying hues of blue, creating a beautiful study of shadow and light. Below is a sampling of some of my custom art pieces.

What’s ingenious about this technique is that it allows me to use YOUR photo to turn your special memory into a one-of-a-kind piece of art for your home.

I saw and thought I'd try a technique using a negative printed on regular paper that is then soaked (coated?) in vegetable oil.

I used 2 very similar photos but difference are amazing. I'm kinda loving the oiled paper result, but I will say, it was unintentionally over-exposed.

The first image below is the oiled paper, the second is traditional cyanotype. What do you think?
