Last year, the masks came on and the Baker came alive. 🎭

There’s just something about dancing beneath chandeliers in a ballroom that has been hosting celebrations for nearly a century.

This year, we dance again at Día de los Mu***os Masquerade at the Baker, celebrating life, remembering those we’ve lost, and making memories with those still beside us.

We had an incredible time at last year’s Masquerade, and this October the ballroom comes alive again for something completely different.

Día de los Mu***os reminds us that those we love may leave this world, but the stories, laughter, memories and love they gave us don't simply disappear.

So this year, we dance for them.

Behind the masks, beneath the chandeliers, and across a dance floor that has held generations of memories of its own.

Preparing the SFX for last year’s Masquerade photo shoot was almost as much fun as the shoot itself.

We filled the ballroom with fog, played with the lighting, and watched the Baker disappear beneath a rolling sea of clouds.

Then someone noticed something.

The fog was moving where nobody was walking.

Maybe it was just the air moving through a nearly 100 year old building.

Or maybe one of the Baker’s permanent guests was getting in a little practice before the Masquerade. 👻

Either way, this year the spirits are invited.

The dead already have a habit of lingering around The Historic Baker Building (no, really...we're legitimately haunted! Just ask Fear Faction Paranormal). But for El Dia De Los Mu***os Masquerade at the Baker, we’re inviting the living to join them!

Yes. An actual bachelor.

Was that in the original event budget? No.
Did anyone stop us? Also no.

So now we have a problem...

What in the world are we supposed to give away THIS year at the Dia De Los Mu***os Masquerade at the Baker?

And apparently “another human” lacks originality.

So we’re asking you.

What should we give away this year?

Apparently owning a historic building means occasionally dressing like you rule one.

We love creating events that give people an excuse to dress up, have some fun, and experience the Baker in a completely different way.

And we’re about to do it again.

Last year’s Masquerade turned our historic ballroom into another world, with performances unfolding above, below, and all around our guests.
