🌺✨ Moana Camp Memories! ✨🌺

Our Moana Camp was filled with adventure, imagination, movement, and so many smiles! From balancing across the ocean, exploring obstacle courses, dancing with new friends, creative coloring activities, and bringing the spirit of Moana to life through movement, these young wayfinders had an unforgettable experience. 🌊🏝️

At UMF, we believe learning happens through play, creativity, and movement. Watching these campers build confidence, make friendships, and embrace every activity with excitement was truly special. 💙

Thank you to all of the families who joined us for this island adventure. We loved every moment and are so grateful to have shared these memories with your children!

💜 A Moment I’ll Never Forget 💜

Jocelyn’s teacher shared a school assignment with me that completely touched my heart. The assignment asked students to write about someone who had made a positive impact on their lives, and Jocelyn chose to write about Ms Samantha and her dance journey and experience at UMF.

Then, not long after, Jocelyn’s mom shared another school project with me. When asked what she wanted to be when she grows up, Jocelyn listed a softball coach, and a pharmacist. At the bottom, she added something that brought tears to my eyes:

“And a Dance Teacher for Ms. Sam.”

Jocelyn, thank you for reminding me why this work matters so much.

Dance is about so much more than learning steps and performing on stage. It’s about building confidence, creating friendships, learning perseverance, and discovering who you are. Watching you grow throughout your dance journey has been an absolute privilege.

Your kindness, determination, and love for dance shine every time you walk through our doors. I am so proud of how hard you work and the joy you bring to our studio family.

Thank you to Jocelyn’s teacher and mom for sharing these special moments with me. They are reminders that what we do inside the studio reaches far beyond the dance floor.

Jocelyn, keep dreaming big. I can’t wait to see all the amazing things your future holds. 💜
