The name "FischTale" is named after my only child, Fischer. Pursuing this dream was something I thought about quite often since I can remember. After having my son, I knew that I had to make my dreams OUR reality. I graduated college with a degree in Studio Art and Education. I have spent the past 8 years teaching art in a public school. I have recently decided to make myself more available for my
son while pursuing my dream of creating and selling my art. My husband is pretty handy too. Together, we have created a vision for a business that we are putting so much love into! Our wood is a combination of store bought and reclaimed wood. One of my most favorite things about using wood as a surface is allowing the wood grain to show through and seeing the pattern and texture that eventually seep through.
