Strawberry Moon represents a time of new potential, renewal and abundance in line with ripening fruits. We had to reschedule the full moon festival today due to heavy rains throughout the day. All of our farm critters and family at the ranch welcomed the strawberry full moon and soaked in the energy for a great month ahead and prepare for the next full moon festival on July 8!

A glimpse of our first Autism workshop for families, caregivers and practitioners. It was a pleasure to host our guest speakers: Dr. Perez, Dr Cicetti and Dr Arango. We thank all the parents and families who braved one of the coldest afternoons in south FL. We discussed the latest medical, clinical and neuroscience innovations, and the newest diagnosis, therapy and treatment options available in south Florida. The little goats and cute animals at 24 Karat Ranch brought warmth, relaxation and happiness to all. Based on the feedback and encouragement received from all the families, we are considering to build an Autism Family group meet and host such learning workshops, group counseling and fun activities for Autistic children, adults and integrating their entire families. These groups will be led by Autism experts, wellness and healthcare professionals, and farm animal assisted experiences and fun farm activities will be an integral part of it. Excited to announce an Equestrian & Farm Science Summer Workshop for Kids 1-5 Grades at 24 Karat Ranch. STEAM is taught in a fun way on our 10 acre ranch including our cute farm animals, farm equipment, lake and plants. There will be a separate curriculum for grades 1-3, and grades 4-5. Starting July 11, running for two weeks (week 1: July 11-15, week 2: July 18-22, 9AM-1PM) each week-long session will incorporate science, math, technology, arts and farm experiences into learning in a unique manner as well as ensuring kids get appropriate physical activity in an enjoyable way. We have excellent qualified counselors who love teaching kids. Throughout the week, kids will also have visits from experts in the Science & Technology fields for demonstrations in cool and interesting ways. Seats are limited as we are only hosting a small group for ensuring personalized attention to each of the kids. We specialize in integrating modern Neuroscience with Farm-Animals assisted experiences and the Mother Nature. Mia Gardner-Zambarano is a licensed psychotherapist who specializes in working with children, adolescent, young adults, and athletes. The workshop is based on her book "The Happy Calendar Book". Various themes in this book are skillfully combined with live interactions with Little Goats to provide a stimulating and fun learning for your child as well as you (as parents). This is a 3-hour, hands-on, personalized group experience with only limited spots available. We look forward to meeting all the parents and kids on June 11 at 9am.
