Know a 12-to-17-year-old who lights up around theater, costumes, storytelling — or just being a little weird in the best way? Send this their way. 👇

🎭 The Youth of Lewis County is offering a FREE Renaissance Theater Camp this summer. Over six weeks, campers build an original character from the ground up — archetype, backstory, coat of arms, costume — and then debut on stage at the Lewis County Renaissance Faire in September.

Campers will train with a team of working artists and educators:

🎤 Tanya Roy — Storytelling & Improv
⚔️ Jim Goodenbery — Stage Combat
📜 Wyatt Wagner & Justin Stewart — Historical Context
👗 Elizabeth Goodenbery — Producer & Costume Design

📜✨ NOW ENROLLING: Youth Theater Camp ✨📜

We're thrilled to announce the launch of our very first Youth Theater Camp — a FREE Renaissance Theater Camp for young performers ages 12–17! 🎭

This is a brand-new initiative, and we couldn't be more excited to bring it to our community. Over a summer of hands-on workshops at the Lowville Theater, campers will:

⚔️ Character Quest – Pick your archetype and build your hero

🌿 Persona Playhouse – Herbalists, alchemists, fae-touched wanderers… get weird

🛡️ Heraldry Hall – Design your coat of arms and earn your player card

🧵 Garb & Gear – Craft your costume from thrifted finds

🎶 Players' Roundtable – Buskers, bards & barbs — find your style

🏰 Debut at the Faire – Perform in character at the Lewis County Renaissance Faire (1,300+ attendees last year!)

Best of all? It's completely FREE, and Faire tickets are included! 🎟️
