What happens when long awaited promises finally push through the darkness into light?  When all the undoing of the hidden places comes into the suddenly of a moment?  When you realize the breaking was the miracle of birthing the new thing all along?  Leave the past behind including the weight of memories.  Step into the light… sprout, grow, mature into the brand new.  Even now, the Lord is the God of the Breakthrough.

Every year I hand paint ornaments as a means of creating quietly… releasing the bigger projects and larger canvases for a moment of childlike play and happiness. Yet what started out as a little challenge to myself as a way to unwind and relax from the Holiday rush and running around has turned into one of my very favorite things to do for others. The custom ones are probably my favorites. This Logo was so fun to do! Thank You Jesse 🫶 🎄🎁

TRUST : That’s the word I gave when asked, “What’s your word for this painting?” Up until that moment, I hadn’t even considered, even though I was asking everyone else that night to think of their own word for their own painting. And yet, in that moment, in front of everyone, in a space WAY outside of my comfort zone, in a season of major changes within my life... “TRUST” rolled right off my tongue, as if all along the inside of me knew intrinsically what I needed. How is that? That the inside sometimes needs to speak to the outside of you. Saying “Trust! Just let go of it all! You can’t control it anyway.”

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; in all your ways know Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
