The Lowell High School Theater Department is preparing to perform "After Hours" by Kevin Stone for competition season and could use help from the community.

The show takes place in a clothing store and we are looking to borrow two circular clothing racks and a mannequin arm. The items will be returned following the March competition.

While competition season is exciting, production and traveling expenses add up quickly. The Theater Department has created an Amazon Wish List to help stage the show while keeping costs low.

The Lowell High School Theater Department is gearing up to put on a fan favorite musical that you absolutely do not want to miss - Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, School Edition!

It's the year 2000, Corey is looking back and ready to tell you all about his senior year. Welcome to William Ocean High School in 1985. The class of '85 is beginning their senior year and you're along for the ride. The ups, the downs, the heartaches, the house parties and the big event: prom night!

And we could use your help to bring our production to life and keep the costs down. We are looking for 80's style clothing, specifically prom dresses and suits. Anything we can borrow, or have donated, can be dropped off in the LHS Freshman Academy on 40 Paige St. labeled "theater department."

Talk about a cool field trip! Lowell High School Theater teacher Ms. Grady took 41 of her students to see "Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill" at Merrimack Repertory Theater. The show, written by Lanie Robertson, chronicles the life, struggles, and artistry of legendary jazz singer Billie Holiday.

The student are actors, stage crew and designers from the LHS Theater Department, who really enjoyed the opportunity to see a professional production - right down the street from their school!
