Throughout occupying many diverse mediums and means to find expression in an ever-more-so-diversifying world, I have found myself connecting symbols of my description of art in continuity to its contemporary brevity. In this regard, the collection of work that I have built is very broad. As of 1998, I have been studying watercolor and oil painting en plein air and have built a collection of hundre
ds of paintings. The study of my practice has taken me to Germany, Spain, England, Ireland and all over North America. Since 2006, I have built and maintained websites and blogs to show the collections of my work made available to view in public space. Also in 2006, I wrote and self-recorded 3 albums containing more than 40 songs and have also independently directed, composed, edited, produced, and marketed a 45 minute abstract surfing film, as well as it’s soundtrack. Since 2008, I have been practicing gyotaku, a Japanese screen-printing method using fish to make art. I have had 7 solo exhibitions and 3 group shows, and on occasion I have appeared in other artist’s work through means of collaborative efforts including photography, video and post-production, film noir, music soundtrack composition, bookmaking, interactive media and poetry.
