Our Showboat VI Venue offers everything you can dream of to ensure a memorable experience for you and your guests located in Historic Lowell, MI. The Lowell Showboat has been an historical icon of the Greater Lowell Community since 1931, serving as a catalyst in bringing the residents of our town and surrounding area together. After five showboat structures, we have launched Lowell Showboat VI into the waters of the Flat River. New memories and moments will be created with The Lowell Showboat VI. It will continue to be a backdrop for our Sizzlin' Summer Concerts and the home of Santa for our onboard December Visits. Beyond memories, it will provide our community with a rental venue for family gatherings, business meetings, weddings and special events.

Ready for a Showboat History answer?
George Washington was the name of the first Lowell Showboat, in use from 1932-1937. This first boat carried one deck, pilot house, two smoke stacks, steam whistle from the Cutter Company and was powered by outboard motors. It rode flush with the water and carried 75 people.
