NEW SET ALERT!

As I shared with the organizers, DJ'ing the 80s Prom-themed Final Fridays dance party at The Hive Market last night was one of the most fun times I've had spinning vinyl. Everyone loved the 80s tunes, and there was a crowd on the dance floor for the entire three hours. For those who attended and want to relive the magic -- or if you're curious what you missed out on -- I've posted the first two hours or so of the set on MixCloud. This was is overflowing with Top 40 hits from the 80s -- if that's your jam, you will diiiiiig this!!! Enjoy.

Hey, fellow music lovers! I know I've been quiet here lately, and haven't uploaded a new set for many months. Well, I'm happy to share that all that's changing, cuz' here I am posting about the vinyl set I recorded live last Friday night at the DIYLowell Eighth Annual Community Chill Night. In the spirit of the event, I kept the music low-key but head-turning. This set features everything from bedroom pop to yacht rock, with sprinkles of jazzy hip hop dub, and several international songs, including Brazilian, Cambodian, and African. But one thing they all have in common is the chill vibe! Stream this one!!!

EPIC soul set at The Hive Market last night. These Final Fridays dance parties are the best. I was giddy spinning some of my favorite slapping soul tunes, and in case you were wondering, I brought the movie dance montage video loop as well. It took us a while to get the setup right, but that seemed to be a welcome distraction while folks were grooving.

Whassup, fellow music lovers!!! Spring is around the corner, and if you’re feeling the urge to come out of hibernation, I’ve got the perfect event for it. I’m so excited to be behind the decks once again, bringing a little bit of my hometown sounds to the Mill City. It draws a line between gesture that demands attention and textures as evidence of life, built over time, at the edge of awareness. These works sit between surface memory and the present moment, holding tension between two distinct vantage points to build a layered sense of the here and now. This exhibition is a challenge to move slow, retune perception, and see an alternate reality inside what feels familiar.

New set alert!

Friends, I haven’t shared a new set in a while. But this one makes up for that! Earlier this month, I was invited to be part of the October DJ lineup for Spins & Needles, and I was pretty proud of my set. It took a while, but I finally recorded it at home and it’s up for your listening pleasure! Things start off with some underground hip hop, then stop off at Brazilian rhythms before soaring into psychedelic indie rock territory. It’s definitely a journey, even at its 60 minute run time.
