It's official. Rapunzel's Coffee and Books
is closing for good at the end of this month, so it's the end of an era. We hope you'll come join us for our last show this Saturday, the 18th. Through the years we've jammed there, competed in the Songwriting Contests and played at Open Mics, Six Pack Songwriter gigs, and the annual Xmas party. We had our first gig there in 2004, and have since played together every year since. We've often shared the stage with wonderful musicians, including Kent Ippolito, Barry Lawson, Jack Cowardin, Bill Evans, Bill Staton, and Mitch Russell. Gayla had her Lovingston book launch there (for Making Music for Life) and participated in Poetry and Lit night (which will be hosted one more time, Friday night, for those who want to read or listen).

For all of you who've played with us, supported us, become friends and created a musical family with us, thank you. We want to maintain this sense of community in other places.

Please come join us for a bittersweet night of sad songs and good reminiscences. We'll be joined onstage by Kent Ippolito and Bill Evans.

Show starts at 8.
