Join us tomorrow at 3 PM at the Hobbs Library gazebo for a special pop-up monarch tagging and release.

Come watch these beautiful butterflies take flight and help us send them on their journey south!

Good evening Lovell Rec friends!

Welcome to the LAST week of summer. We hope you had a wonderful break and can’t wait to see everyone at our fall sports & upcoming events.

A message from our Rec Director, Meg:

Soccer has started for the 5/6 grade team. They are practicing on Sundays and Wednesdays from 5 - 6:30 pm. This Wednesday they will practice from 5:30 - 7 pm.

Soccer will start for the 3/4 and 1/2 once school starts. The best way for you to have control of where/when practices take place is to be the coach 🙂 🙂 I am looking for coaches. Just think how wonderful it is to be surrounded by children listening to your every word. And when they don't you can make them run!!!!

I will start carrying paperwork with me, so whenever you see me you can sign up. I will also be at all the school events. You can always sign up at the first practice.

The Lovell Rec Committee is looking for new members. We have lots of couples who share the responsibility. We meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month. I see a possible major project on the horizon.

The October Raffle Calendar is getting prepared for fundraising in September. If you, your business or your family would like to donate for one of the days please let me know. The gifts are usually worth between $25 and $50, and each calendar costs $10.

From today, August 15, through September 15, submit your favorite photo taken on a GLLT property for our End of Summer Photo Contest.
