Loveland's Feed & Grain was the model for Space to Create Colorado and the very first project of the program! Thanks to the visionary and tireless volunteers of Novo Restoration and to owner Barry Floyd for saving the building in the first place!

When the all volunteer Friends of the Rialto, working to bring back Loveland's historic Rialto Theater, discovered their first treasure hidden under layers of plywood and cardboard, a leaded glass transom, "Rialto," we called the only glass restoration group we could find 35 years ago, Watkins Stained Glass. When Phil Watkins made the trek from Denver and climbed the ladder to look at our find, he nodded and nonchalantly identified our treasure as his grandfather's work, from 1920! The shining centerpiece of the Rialto's restored facade is his work to restore his grandfather's work. Thank you, Phil Watkins!

The LAST week to experience this remarkably moving installation by Loveland's own Sharon Carlisle, who also created work for the Feed & Grain along with Abbie Rae Powers, Angela Canada Hopkins, Olivia Lowe, and Arts at the Feed & Grain creators and curators, Megan Tracy and Carrie Johansing.
