I love a good challenge!! I made this for my daughters first school dance, with only 30 mins to set up, I had to be cleaver about design and setup! But this was the outcome!! I took the lamp bases with 4 of the rods and placed 6ft pvc pipes over it and made the design at home. The pvc pipe slips right off for easy transport and didn’t ruin a thing! It was a hit and I’m so thankful to have been a part of this special core memory with my girls!! They are my everything!!

Mahalo!! I was thinking today was a good day to bust out some of my new rentals. I’ve had these balloons in my trailer since Saturday nights baby shower. My client didn’t want them and the venue was going to pop them…so I grabbed what I could fit in my trailer and brought them home. I’ve been meaning to showcase my new rentals and what better way than to place my florals on them and throw on some reused balloons and take a photo op!! 🎈💕
Dis is me. My name is Amber. I started Valiant Designs in the hope to not lose my sanity in 2020. And I still love it!! And my sanity is somewhat still there! Lol. I love doing this job! If you told me 5 years ago that this is where I’d be today, I would have laughed. But today, I wouldn’t trade this. Balloons have taught me soooooo much!! Between the blood, sweat and tears that comes along with owning your own business, starting from scratch, self teaching yourself how to do it all while keeping a house, being Mom and Wife, taking care of the animals…It’s no secret, the juggle struggle is real!! Sometimes I break. I cry. I try to keep myself together while trying to keep everything else together. But at the end of the day, I have tomorrow to get to do it all again in the best way I know how, that day. And I get to look forward to that everyday. And I am thankful. I truly enjoy where I am in life, who I am!! And everything and everyone that has helped me be where I am today, I can look at this picture and smile!! Thank you. Ok! Wedding balloons!! Obsessed!! These colors are so gorgeous, picked by the beautiful bride!! When I get the chance to see the clients reaction and they enjoy my work when I’m done, it reminds me why I love this job so much!! It’s the moment that it all makes since…that smile!! It was around a year ago I decided to finally make the leap and open my own bar business after seeing the impacts of Covid-19 on brick & mortar businesses. I was casually shopping around for a horse trailer to custom build when I found Pony Express:) I had always known I would own my own bar in some capacity & I couldn't be happier this is how it started.
It seemed counterintuitive to start a business during a time of such unrest, but it actually brought me peace and belonging among the chaos. After being unemployed for the majority of the year I had a sense of direction. And while I still hold another part time job (at a brewery I LOVE), nothing feels better than working for yourself and what you believe in.
I feel so grateful and fortunate for the support i've been given along the way from friends, family, friendors and of course my amazing clients and fans of my page! At this point last year my first event hadn't even been a glimmer in my eye and now i've booked one for 2023!
I'm so excited to see what another year brings and even more excited to have you all along on the journey. Thank you for being a part of it with me!
