Hello out there!

I will NOT be vending at Yarn Fest this year.
I will be at the Ranch at to NoCo Home Show at the COUNTRY Financial booth as my new life as. Career Insurance Agent.

I do still have yarn and shawl pins but am so fed up with Etsy I closed my shop.

We are so looking forward to this class. Monica taught me how to decorate Christmas cookies last year. I had such a good time learning and eating my mistakes.
We hope you will take some time out for yourself and come join us for a fun time of cookies and wine!

INSTRUCTOR SPOTLIGHT
Decorating Festive Gluten-Free Christmas Cookies Party!
https://www.facebook.com/events/573140190157223/
Monica Signer loves making crafts, and when her attention turned to cookie decorating she tackled that with the same great enthusiasm!
Having grown up in a family that had a strong gingerbread house tradition, she picked up the icing bag with the goal of creating a fantastical winter gingerbread scene.
But in the process she fell down the deep hole of cookie decorating fun!
After much practice on her own, and hosting decorating parties at her home, she's looking forward to working with more students looking to hone their own skills.

Join me on the School of Enduring Arts page starting today! Everyday at 9 a.m. I am posting a picture of my garden and talking a bit about a plant/garden. History, fun facts, how to use it, something you might not know.
And a reminder that there is a green world.
I hope you join us and enjoy!

Sage, the kind for cooking, in bloom in the end of May.
Bees love love love it! It is a perennial but tends to be short lived here in the foothills of Colorado.
This grand dame is over 8 years old! Every year she comes back is a blessing.
Stuff your turkey with a big handful of sage stems, a couple of quartered apples and oranges for a lovely subtle flavor boost.
Or if you only have dried sage, mix into butter and stuff under the skin of the turkey breast. Delicious!

Curtis and I invite you to join our School of Enduring Arts page and group.
We are building course and contacting teachers to offer experiential learning of many skills we have spent our lives figuring out.
I'm not closing down Fox Ryde Gardens, it has been a part of me for so many years. But my energy is focused on bringing our school to life.
Our love for gardens and bees are a part of our life and will be a focus of the school as well.

The lavender plant is most likely a Provence Lavender from Heritage Lavender. I wish you could see it. It's covered in a cloud of pollinators all day long.
I meant to harvest the flower stalks to enjoy all winter but I just couldn't. When the bees and friends started visiting, I was just lost to wonder.
