I wanted to give an about me for those who are just meeting me!
I’m Ymir (pronounced yuh-meer) and I’m 25 years old. I grew up in the beautiful state of Colorado, and have Mexican heritage. I’m a Leo with cancer moon and cancer rising.
I’m a dream witch, which means I get a lot of guidance through my dreams/ meditative states. I do practice paganism but I am not Wiccan. This has become a large source of my creativity and themes in my paintings, and my art is sometimes inspired by them. Maybe a bit cuckoo.
I love animals, and have a chihuahua (Cielo) a kitty (Kirby) 6 female mice (Elide, Manon, Noodle, Mila, Samaya, and Zaida) a pretty betta fish (Jesse pinkman) and two jumping spiders (skiddy and sassy, my other one toaster just died a few days ago rip toaster 😞) My animals give me a routine and keep me grounded. They are my heart and make me a more patient, better person every day. ❤️
Some of my hobbies include watching favorite shows, playing video games, creating of course, reading fantasy books, hiking, collecting plants and bones, doing my makeup and dressing up! I also love constantly learning about different things, like psychology, theology, botany, the paranormal, and I’m a sucker for some conspiracy theories. I love heavy metal and a lot of edm ( shoutout to my bass heads) but also like other genres like reggaeton, Spanish rock, some pop and a little bit of rap. Mainly lil da**ie tbh.
I’m a stinking leftist and I care about our planet, I am a feminist, I hate ice (f**k ice 🧊) I’m pro Palestine, pro science,I love my g**s gals and non binary pals, trans women are women, pro choice, I’m proud to be Mexican and proud to be a woman. I believe in freedom to practice whatever beliefs or religion suits you as long as it’s not harming anyone else.
I am engaged to my best friend and don’t want kids (I’d rather be the cool auntie) I went through a tattoo apprenticeship and learned how to tattoo, and still do for friends and family. My day job is being a house cleaner for some lovely families I am grateful for every day. I run my own business on that end and I love being my own boss, and helping make peoples lives easier. I hope to touch peoples lives through my art too and maybe one day be able to sustain myself off my work.
I am autistic and that has given me many struggles throughout my life, but I’m learning to lean into strengths and be comfortable with my limitations. I’m not a super social extrovert that’s gonna talk to everyone at the function, but I am a yapper and I’m hella opinionated.
Anyway that’s a rundown on who I am and I hope the people that f**k with it stay and vibe with my art. Respect for all fellow humans and love yourself.
