This isn’t a house portrait… it’s a goodbye to a chapter of someone’s story. 🏡❤️

There’s something about painting a home that never gets old.

When my sweet friend and realtor Stephanie Sabo asked me to create this closing gift for her clients, I immediately fell in love with this house. Those beautiful multicolored bricks, the charming front porch, and the perfectly balanced landscaping… every little detail deserved to be captured.

One of my favorite things about creating home portraits is knowing I’m not just painting a house. I’m preserving the place where birthdays were celebrated, milestones were reached, and everyday memories were made.

Watching this one come to life brushstroke by brushstroke was such a joy, and I’m so grateful to Stephanie for trusting me to create something meaningful for her clients as they close one chapter and begin another. ❤️

This custom hand-painted birthday banner was created for a very special birthday girl and one of my dearest friend’s daughters. Every brushstroke was designed to celebrate the big leap from little girl to teenager… with plenty of tropical pool party vibes along the way.

Seeing it hanging at the party made my heart so happy. 🥹✨

Some homes are more than four walls and a roof.

They hold scraped knees and birthday candles. Holiday dinners. Late-night talks on the porch. The marks on the doorframe where children grew taller year after year. ❤️

When Faba Torres reached out about creating a portrait of this family’s childhood home before it was sold, I knew this piece would be about more than architecture. It would be about preserving a lifetime of memories.

The challenge? There wasn’t a single photo that captured the home exactly as it lived in the family’s heart. So I pieced it together from photographs spanning more than two decades, from 2004 all the way to 2026, carefully recreating the details that mattered most. The beloved tree in the yard. The rose bush by the front porch. The little pieces of home that made this place uniquely theirs.

What started as a house portrait became a keepsake of an entire chapter of life.

I’m incredibly grateful to Faba Torres for trusting me with such a meaningful gift for her clients. It was an honor to help preserve a place that will always be home, no matter where life takes them next. 🏡✨
