🎢 ArieForce One has been SOLD! 🎢

Fun Spot's announcement this afternoon addresses at least half of the speculation about this ride. Fun Spot Atlanta had been one of our most visited amusement park stops on our road trips to and from Florida over the last two years, and we were sad to hear that this park and its headlining ride was closing. However, we are now so happy to hear that we will have an opportunity to ride this incredibly well designed roller coaster again in the days ahead.

Fun Spot did not reveal the park that will be reopening the ride nor the date that it will be moving from its current plot in Atlanta, so that leaves us to speculate on the remaining details. Kings Island has teased an RMC coaster, but they are known for trolling the sleuths. A Carowinds relocation would make sense, but they're already opening a new ride. I'd also love to see it go to Wild Adventures so we could continue our stops down south. Wherever ArieForce ends up going, we'll definitely be there to experience this amazing attraction ✨️

We enjoyed our ride on Viper at Six Flags Great America. After the second turnaround, there is a lot of airtime, and the 3,458 feet of track means decent ride time as well. It's still a solid wooden coaster after 31 years, and I find it impressive that it was built in house 🎢

Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the Garden Carousel at Kentucky Kingdom stands as a pillar of community vibes for our city. We always sense its nostalgic charm on our rides. Originally named the International Carousel, this attraction features beautifully hand-carved animals, including three distinct roosters! Has anyone been so lucky to ride one of these rare roosters?! 😅 We’ve yet to snag one of these special seats but will be looking to do so next weekend when we visit! 🎠 Recently, the carousel received an update with the help of students from local Louisville schools. Each participating school is proudly honored directly on the top brim for their efforts in repainting and refreshing this classic ride. As educators, this is always nice to see on our visits to Discovery Meadow 🎠

As Full Charge Fun and I were enjoying the vibes at Kentucky Kingdom today, we noticed this new fence in front of the queue area for the 5D Cinema. It seems we're half a step closer to a new attraction in this building.. maybe a dark ride, a coaster, or something in between 🎢🏇

After we got our first ride’s on Maxx Force, Ellie felt that that we were no longer on this planet. 😂 There is something about an intense launch that just hits different. 🚗💨🏁

Kentucky Kingdom has gone through many transformations since its beginnings and has a strong community of supporters here in Louisville, including A Kentucky Jester at the Kingdom. Give this page ⬆️ a follow and enjoy the jester's puns while knowing more about this park's impact on our community 🃏🦁👑

BIRTH OF A STORM CHASER
Rocky Mountain Construction is seen here in early 2016 magnificently transforming the former Twisted Twins duelling coasters into the singular Storm Chaser. It quickly became the signature rollercoaster at Kentucky Kingdom. Today it goes by the name Wind Chaser, but we’ll always remember the season that it debuted and stormed its way into all of our coaster-lovin’ hearts!

Batman the Ride was another priority for us when we went to Six Flags Great America for our first visit.. It's the first inverted looping roller coaster and an ACE roller coaster landmark. It's a little rougher around the edges than other B&M inverts and that just added character to the ride. We also enjoyed the immersive atmosphere in the queue and loading station placing you in the setting of Gotham City.. There's plenty of signage, set pieces, lighting and even a fog effect before exiting the station. I'd like to see this level of storytelling and attention to detail on all rides at Six Flags parks 🎢

Have you ridden Raging Bull at Six Flags Great America? We enjoyed the variety in this layout.. The twister design makes it unique. Most hypercoasters that are built now have similar out and back, airtime-focused designs with lots of hills. Raging Bull has a few airtime hills, but the hammerhead turns that precede them and the drops into each part of the figure eight finale seem to be Raging Bull's defining sequences. The tunnel after the drop is also a lot of fun. As long as this roller coaster is operating, we'll continue to get rides on it every time we visit Six Flags Great America 🎢
