Got junk? Make magic. Join us for a hands-on trash puppet making workshop, where yesterday's recyclables become tomorrow's cast of characters! 🗑️👹

We'll provide all the supplies you need, but feel free to raid your recycling bin and fabric scraps at home and bring any bottle caps, cardboard tubes, old socks, fabric, or other discards you'd like to give a second life. Together, we'll transform everyday trash into expressive, one-of-a-kind puppets. No experience needed, just a love of making and a little imagination. It's been such a busy time at ATL—we almost forgot to mention that we attended this year's KPA Bradley Awards! 😮

That evening, Jack Nelson (McCracken County High School) and McKinley Harper (George Rogers Clark High School) were selected to represent Kentucky at the 2026 Jimmy Awards in New York City on June 22.

It was a fantastic evening of community, honoring some of the best high school theatre Kentucky has to offer, and we know Jack and McKinley will do us proud in NYC.
