Twisted Scenic is very happy to wish our co-founder and favorite kilted artist a very happy 35th birthday!! Jeff started out in the film industry at an incredibly young age and worked his way up the ladder in Hollywood, becoming friends with people we wouldn’t believe if we hadn’t seen photos! Years later he would trade all that in and move home to Louisville KY to work in event production. Traveling the country he continued to pick up new skills and make new friends! It was at this time he met the other co-founder of Twisted Scenic. He continued to hone his skills and learn new ones traveling the world as a flight choreographer for ZFX. (He may have brought us the virus) 😂 But it was ultimately his goal to be his own boss. So two years ago, we got together and started a little company (that we thought would surely not be profitable) called Twisted Scenic. Well, like anything else Jeff touches, (insert lawsuit joke here) it took off! We’ve been so blessed to have Jeff and can’t wait to see what tricks he has up his kilt for 2020!! We love you Jeff!!

We’ve been playing quite the social media catch up the last week sooo.....here’s another one. Sazerac House in NOLA from last spring.
Our good buddy was hired on to production design/art direct this interactive video display for and brought us in to join the team for this portion of it.
We built (4) 7’x12’ backwall bar displays and 4 bar tops to go with each of the themes. This was very different then most sets because these were actual giant pieces of furniture and not just painted luan to look like furniture. We crammed these monsters (some how) into our 1000 sqft shop (at the time) and somehow had just enough room left to work....kinda.
it was a pleasure to work with you and your team. This was a huge undertaking to say the least and you all knocked it out of the park. I look forward to working together again some day!

So these are kinda silly but wildly successful oddly enough. Who’d a thunk? 3d scarecrow photo ops? This was one of the projects/clients we couldn’t show due to an NDA buuut that company unexpectedly dissolved overnight...along with our NDA soooo.....yay? Now we can show you some pictures!

It’s been our pleasure to build a custom bar top and do a jet black resin pour for this new Louisville establishment. Pure black, high gloss, things, are hard to make without any flaws but man it’s pretty when done right!
