History: Located off the Nanny Goat Strut, behind Decca Restaurant, in the heart of NuLu, DREAMLAND was a 120-person black-box theater with adjoining bar, lounge, and gallery space. Dreamland was a venue dedicated to exploring the nexus of progressive art forms, filling a much-needed gap in the Louisville arts community. We were committed to promoting experime

ntal and innovative music, dance, film and visual art forms. We presented more than 100 live performances, hosted lectures, and offered our space for community events. Our smaller size allowed for engaging experiences, and our intimate setting brought patrons closer in on the action. We also provided opportunities for young composers, improvisors, and emerging artists to perform.

This Thursday from 2-9pm, The Numero Group will be having a "Factory Outlet" shopping day at Dreamland. This is a great opportunity to grab that Blonde Redheads box set, or all the Unwound you could wish for. Yes, of course Numero will me coming with all the beautiful oddities that they are known for.

Last time we saw Evan Miller, he was completely killing it with the Aaron Michael Butler ensemble playing Steve Reich's FOUR ORGANS and Julius Eastman's "GAY GUERILLA"- a concert that I will NEVER forget!!
Evan Miller is a Dayton, OH-based percussionist. His current work combines instruments with friction techniques, tape loops and electronics to create long sounds and display the hidden timbral qualities in (non-)traditional instruments. He is also a member of Neutrals, a improvisation/chamber duo, with Andrew Seivert.
