Happy Thanksgiving & Shop Small Saturday! I’m always so grateful this time of year for God’s common grace in giving us a man-made holiday that reminds us of truths He has already given us in His Word:

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; FOR this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

There is so much to be thankful for! This time last year, I was eagerly awaiting two births - that of our precious Hazel Anne and the final publication of the years-long project, “God With Us.” All that eager anticipation provided me the tiniest of glimpses into the weary world’s waiting for the first Advent - I can’t imagine the 400+ years of silence and waiting - O Come, O Come, Emmanuel! So grateful for our Lord’s first Advent in humility and eagerly anticipating His second Advent in power!
