Are Friday introductions even a thing anymore? Oh well, it's 2024 and it's been a HOT minute, Instagram. There's been soooo many changes going on over here and it's time to reintroduce Colburn Films 🤍

I'm Brooke! I've been lucky enough to capture love stories as my full time job for TEN YEARS now! I have two little boys who are my world and keep me quite busy. I've recently went and changed my business from Colburn Video to Colburn Films (I know, huge changes 😉😂) I live in Louisville Kentucky but film all over. I've lived here for 15 years and I love it here. I also love this vendor community because holy wow everyone is truly amazing (community > competition)

Yellow is my favorite color and weddings are my favorite thing to film. I've also done a lot of other video and editing work from sports, non profits, bourbon, etc. I love anything that challenges me creatively! Cooking is a passion of mine and I love getting creative in the kitchen. I can't even imagine myself doing anything else and I have been incredibly blessed over these years by capturing some of the most beautiful love stories. In light of Thanksgiving, I got the opportunity to film a really cool organization that was held at St Matthews Baptist church. They packaged and will distribute 20,000 meals throughout the community. How cool is that?! I love telling stories like this and seeing people come together to serve 🤍

First look with your dog on your wedding day? Abso-freaking-lutely. The pups are babies too and I could not get over how Christina and Aaron basically SPRINTED with excitement toward their sweet Maddie. Seriously, it doesn’t get much cuter 🐶 we obviously have more to share from their insanely gorgeous wedding day but this was too good, it needed it’s own post. ||

Last night was perfect, I have no words. My sister Megan and her husband William are officially married 🤍 we put together an intimate celebration in our back yard last night and there were all the laughs and happy tears. These two deserve the world and I’m so blessed to call them family. These vows. This couple ❤️ This whole day had me in my feels and it was such a beautiful union to witness. The love between these two and their families was immeasurable. The day was perfect even despite a little rain right before the ceremony. It's such an honor for me to share a love like this with you all. Now excuse me while I go bawl my eyes out.
